Bug?: Using Timers
Post
by pepsiboy » Tue Nov 20, 2007 8:21 pm
Looks like there is a bug in the rounding in the timers feature. The item is tax-free. It looks like it's okay with whole units, but when I add a fraction of time, the line-by-line is correct, however the transaction total is 1 cent off.
ie: 4.011 @ 2.50 = 10.03 TOTAL: 10.04
(4.011x2.50= 10.0275)

pepsiboy,
I try as much as I can but it is always possible when dealing with tiny fractions that it may round out to being a penny off. I could possibly fix this but that would only mean that some other fraction that does round correctly would be off.
It is a ever losing battle.
Sorry,
Dale
