Propose new feature: Join tables, split tables in restaurant

Dear Dale,

Thank you for your DHPOS. It's realy great. We implemented the software in a small Bar and Restaurant in Vietnam and we are happy with the software in general.

Just a recommend that it would be better if the software can allow us to join the bills of two or more tables in to one (for cases that the customers in two or more tables want to join together and pay as one), or the reverse situation to spit one table's bill to several bills (for cases when someone leaves the table early and want to clear his/her part separately).

If this feature is already enable in the current release, please advise how to enable it.

Such a feature does not currently exist, perhaps Dale could add the merging of two parked sales, but splitting would be more complcated.

It would be relatively easy to split at a certain line in the sale - but what if that person's items are spread throughout the sale i.e. not grouped together.

Splitting sales would be fairly difficult and probably will not be added to the program.

With Andrew's suggestion of loading from a parked sale, merging two sales may be possible and fairly simple. However it will have to wait until I finish the Gift card / X-Charge stuff.
