APRINT question
Post
by recycle_ben » Fri Jun 10, 2005 8:54 pm
Can anyone detail the 'mechanics' of APRINT? Assuming it works something like Printfile (
http://www.lerup.com/printfile/) to what folder/subdirectory is the file written and is there a specific filename that is written each time printing is initiated?
Thanks in advance for the reply.

APRINT must be run from your DHPOS folder before you start DHPOS.
DHPOS outputs the file WLSDFKJN.DRY to it's current folder.
APRINT detects the file, reads it, prints it and then deletes it.

Thanks.
Any ideas on automatically moving or writing this file to another folder/directory (ex. /spool) since I'm already using prntfile for some of my other dos programs?

Disregard the last reply. Just read the Printfile docs and I can specify the file name to spool in the Printfile command line.
