I have noticed that the cash drop/pull feature does not reflect any changes in the reports menu. If you go to reports and do a total sales report the cash drop/pull value is always zero even if a drop or pull was made.

Is it possible to change the value when a warning is given for inventory running low. instead of when inventory = 0, cant it be when inventory = ?? so that you know u need to buy more stock, then when inventory = 0 mesg comes up saying inventory is 0 but still allow u to sell.

PURCHASE.EXE

Post by Dale Harris » Wed Feb 09, 2005 7:22 pm

Verushka,

When you are ringing up an item, if the program told you that you were low on stock for that item you would have to write it down to keep track of what you were low on. If you were low on something that you have not sold recently then this feature would not help you at all.

A much better idea would be if the program would run a special report whenever you want, to tell you all the items you are low on. Even better if it would sort this report by vendor so that you know what merchandise you need from each vendor.

Well that is just what the PURCHASE.EXE program does. This program comes with the POS program so you already have it. And here are the instructions http://keyhut.com/postip9.htm#purchase
