Hi! First of all I would like to comment on how much I love your POS software. I own a small photography business and it is perfect for us!
Here is my question: I have a receipt printer attached to COM 1 and I can print to it fine, except the last character on each line prints at the beginning of the next row. For example:
STOCK NUMBER DESCRIPTION COS
T
TXO 1 at 0.00 ea 0.0
0
I have tried using the APRINT and select print to file, and instead of using my printer driver, use the generic driver. Still the same problem exists. Is this a problem with my printer, or is there something in the software I can do to fix it? (And I have it on 40 characters). I appreciate any help you could give. Thanks!

Serial printers
Courtenay,
You do realize that serial printers are the bane of all human existance don't you?
When set for printing 40 characters per line the POS program actually prints 39 characters per line (so I lied, sue me) to prevent the dreaded "phantom line feed" and then sends the <CR> <LF> characters to the printer to begin a new line.
Somehow your printer is printing only 38 characters per line. I have no idea why.
One thing that would help is if you told us what kind of printer you have. Then someone who drops by here who has the same printer may have a solution.
Glad you like the program,

Serial printer
Mr. Harris,
Thank you very much for responding. The printer I am using is an Oneil Microflash 2t printer. And I have to agree with you, this printer is becoming the bane of my existence! It was an ebay purchase, and my husband ragged me about it and said I'd never use it - so of course now I am even more determined to get it working. It is a thermal printer, the print quality is great, etc. Which I guess does me no good when it can't all print on one line.
If anyone has any ideas or suggestions to get this working, I would be grateful. Otherwise, I'm gonna have to hook up my inkjet and admit defeat to my husband. And I really would like to avoid that.
