The "Z" reading thing from version 6.15 under some conditions would cause a fatal error (the program would die) when the cash register was opened. This error occurs even if you are not using the "Z" reading.
If you are using version 6.15 you must upgrade to version 6.16.

Correct
Guest,
You are absolutely correct. You do not have to download version 6.16 if you are using 6.15. But then again you do not have to run out of a burning building or pull the rip cord if you are skydiving, those actions are also only "recommeded."

Version 6.16
flapokey,
The problem you are reporting happened in version 6.15 and was fixed in version 6.16. Since then a couple of people have reported that it was happening in version 6.16 also but every time I have looked into it I found out that the person with the problem was actually running version 6.15 and not 6.16.
So please check and make sure that the version that you are running actually states at the bottom of the main menu that it is 6.16.
If it is then please send to me as an attachment to an email to daleharris@prodigy.net your configuration file ????????.POS
