Receipt problem - How to print a receipt?

Hello Dale,

First i would to say thanks for your POS Software! So far i managed to figured out every thing i have played with, just one little problem keeps coming back. After i have selected all the info i would like to see on my Receipts and try and print to a standard Laser Printer i get nothing. I'm pressing Ctrl+P but that does not seem to work. The printer is printing fine, it will print everything else with the software so far but the receipt.

Any help for any one?

Why are you pressing Ctrl+P? That is a shortcut for windows programs.

Once you complete a sale it can print a receipt, but you have to turn it on in POSCONFG (Printer Setup - "Print Receipts on a Printer") You will want to investigate the other settings on this page.

Please note - there is a manual called REGISTER.TXT included with DHPOS which supplies this and much more useful information.

Thanks for feed back you have provided so far...

I confirmed the settings as you pointed to me and they were already setup to print receipts, howevery i'm still having a problem printing out a receipt. I can print the samples with out problems!

I only seem to have this problem with i'm making out a general receipt not a sample. There is no option to print. I see all the other options i have configured but not print option. I see my Stock table (F1), Void (F5), Change Tax (F7), Reduction (F9) and Back (F11). All configured and working as tested. But no option to print a receipt!

Maybe i'm missing something.....

When you have entered the last item in your sale you must press the plus key [+] to finish the sale so you can enter in the amount tendered and print the receipt.
