Mobile POS Station

Post by ChrisKraus » Fri Aug 13, 2004 2:22 pm

Here's An Idea For A Mobile POS Station That Doesn't Involve any Pocket PC's or Palm OS Devices. All you need is A Laptop, A Cash Drawer, A Scanner (Wireless One If You Want), A Printer, A Power Strip and A Cart. The Power Strip is to plug everything into that is on the cart. This way, all you have to plug in is ONE plug and a network cable if you have a multi-register setup. This kind of thing could be great for Tent and other Outdoor Sales. Another Optional idea for networking, to eliminate some cables, Is to have a WiFi Network setup. This might be even better for outdoors and also for large stores.
