Receipt problem & addition problem with 6.10 software

Post by FOSTER » Mon Aug 23, 2004 12:37 pm

I recently downloaded the 6.10 software and started experimenting to see if I would have any problems. So far, I have come across 2 problems:

1. When the receipt comes out, there is an extra line in between each item. I went to the set up and it is marked NO for extra lines. How do I fix this problem?

2. I rang up a single sale for $14.00. Somehow, the program deleted .99 and listed the total as 14.07 with tax included. How do I fix this problem. Any help you provide will be greatly appreciated. :D

Printer?

Foster,

What kind of printer? Will your printer print 40 or 80 characters per page?

Did it twll you one the screen why 99¢ was deleted. Did you try ringing the same sale again? Did the problem happen again?

Receipt Printer problem

Post by FOSTER » Tue Aug 24, 2004 9:30 am

I use an Epson printer. This works fine with the 3.46 version that I currently use. I only have problems when I switch to the 6.10 version. Yes, I can choose between 40 & 80 characters.

On the printer set up, I have checked NO for adding additional lines.

I have had no further problems with the addition/subtraction.

Thank you for any help you can provide.
