Hi. When I first set up a printer (computer printer, using APRINT) in POS, it would print across the top of a 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper. I must have changed something, because now it prints in half of the top and is much smaller font, taking up only 1/6 of the page. I cannot figure out how to fix this.
Any help would be appreciated!

Sounds like the 40/80 character part of the printer setup in DH-POS has reset to 40, try setting it back to 80.

Sorry every body!!!
I am using the pos software version 6.17 and I was able to complete every thing that it asked me. I do have my printer with aprint which I must start first. And the printer seems to be connected fine only I think that I have a fine tunning issue, for every time that i print a recipt the printer seems to print too big. I have been reading the forum and tring to take some notes I just can t seem to get it right. Please any suggestions would help. These are the things that I have tried.
1. I tried the 40 line to 80 line feature.
2. I have tried removing it and installing it again.
3. I have tried the program printer and the printer setup with no success.
I am using a windows 98 box if that helps any.
The program works wonders as far as organizing everything. From inventory to dealers I mean it has it all. I just cant seem to find the problem with the printer.

24 columns
angel01@totalaccess.net,
I received additional information from the email you sent to me.
I have never heard of a "Nurit" printer before so I looked it up on Yahoo. It seems as though the Nurit 525 prints 24 columns (characters) wide per line and the minimum width that my program prints receipts is 40 characters wide. This means that my POS program will not support this printer, sorry.
Since the vast majority of receipt printers print 40 characters wide I assume that most other POS software also supports this. If you decide to use other POS software (rather than replacing the printer) it would probably be a good idea to ask the software vendor first if their software supports 24 character per line receipts. If you decide to replace the printer and use my software then here is a list of printers that will work with me software just fine http://keyhut.com/popopen.htm . To avoid other printing problems make sure that you get a printer with a parallel printer interface not a serial interface.
