Employee setup problem

Post by Andrew » Sat May 14, 2005 9:24 am

May have stumbled onto another bug.

I had been using 6.23 with employees and PINS. Tonight I removed the PINS and under "Employee Setup" I informed DHPOS not to use an employee list, and deleted all names from the list also.

Later on, I went to option "7. Close Register" from the main menu, and was asked for an associate number, and the list of associates (empty) was shown.

No matter what I entered, I couldn't close the register, because of course - no employees are in the list.

I went back into POSCONFG, and disabled the "use PINs" option of Employee Setup. Went back to the main menu and tried to close again, this time it worked.

However - in my thinking, disabling the employee list, should override the PIN setting and never prompted me for an associate number, as no other part of DHPOS had so far.
