Merchandise report
Terence,
You can use the "Reports" feature to print a merchandise report. However it will only report on what has been sold since the lase time the merchandise data has been reset. You are offered the option of resetting the merchandise data when you close the register out for the day.
So to print a merchandise report for each day you must print it just before you close out the register for the day and then when offered the option of resetting the merchandise data while closing out the register you must choose "YES".
Once the merchandise data has been erased it is gone. This means that you cannot print a merchandise report for a previous day. You must use the "Sales history" feature of the POSCONFG.EXE program to turn history on so that it will start recording the sales history.
However you can print a "History" report that will tell you what you sold for previous months. A one month report will tell you what you sold so far this month, a 2 month report will tell you what you sold so far this month and all of last month, and so on. You can go back as far as one year.
