Error when loading in Inventory File

Post by govindh » Wed May 30, 2007 5:59 pm

Hi there,

When I go to load my inventory using the file management I get the following error message:

Bad file name or number in Line 1 of module CF4 at address 2EA5:4AEB.

Can anyone help with that?

Thanks!

I am assuming that you used the INVENOR.BAT program to take your inventory and are now trying to use the POS.EXE program to load the .INV file into your stock table. Is the .INV file in the same folder on your hard drive as the POS.EXE file? Or if it is on a floppy, CD, RAM drive did you enter the correct drive letter to read the file? If all that is correct there maybe a problem with the actual file. To have me check the file attach to an email your ????.TBL and ????.INV data files and I will look at them.
