Oh no it's another Serial Printer problem.
I have got a Epson U210D Serial Printer, That I am trying to get to work with the POS system.
The computer is not running any kinds of windows.
The computer is running good old DOS 6.22.
I have set the printer to (COM1,N,8,1), When I press F4 for a test receipt I get "Printer Error" Press 1,2,3, If I press 3 it then prints.
So I then goto "Open Cash Drawer" and set that to (27,112,0,25,250).
So then I go to Test the Draw Open by pressing F4 I once again get "Printer Error" So I try pressing 3 again, it's no good it don't want to play.
So I guess I have to find the Printer Ready Code.
Can anyone help me with this?
Thanks for your time.

Printing?
mad_professor_2002,
Does the printer print receipts after a sale? If it does not print receipts it will not open the cash drawer.
To get rid of the "printer error" screen go to the "Program printer" feature of the POSCONFG.EXE program and enter the proper "Printer ready" code.
And I am assuming that you have read this? http://www.dhpos.com/discuss/phpBB2/vie ... 1980265b4d
