I have been looking through the posts the past couple of days for a way to enter "kits" or "bundles" in inventory. However, it seems that there is no way to do this currently and probally won't be in any future releases. A way around this would be to enter a discount into the system for employees to choose from. I am only seeing that I can do this with a "percentage discount" and I want to do this with a predetermined "dollar discount". For example, if "A" is $10, "B" is $10, and "C" is $5, I want to have my employees be able to choose a bundle price of $20 instead of the $25 price if purchased seperately. I know that they can do this by just applying a $5 discount when ringing up the customer, however, is there a way that I can enter this into the system so my employees can choose this discount from a list?
Thanks,
This is my first post, so go gentle on me....
Pre-entered dollar discounts

Bisctboy,
What you are referring to we call "deals", such as "Buy 3 and get the fourth free." The problem with deals is that there is an infinite number of ways they can be constructed. This of course would require an infinite amount of code to accommodate all possible deals. Since this is impossible I just ignore the whole mess.
While you cannot have preset dollar discounts, by pressing [F9] you can use either reductions or coupons to reduce the sale by a dollar amount. You just have to type in the dollar amount you want.
