Suspend printing

Hi,

How do I prevent the printing of opening register data and remove the tips printout for the associates? i.e. whenever I open the register, the receipts would be printed. I don't mind printing the data as I know they are important, but I am wasting a lot of paper in printing. Especially, when I am testing and learning the POS system.

Thus I would like to reduce the empty space between printouts and also choose what to print.

Go to the "Printer setup" feature of the POSCONFG.EXE program and set "Ask before printing opening receipt" to "YES."

To stop the "tips" printing go to the "Employee seup" feature of the POSCONFG.EXE program and set "Employee tips" to "NO"

You could also temporarily set the printer port in POSCONFG to FILE: and don't start the APRINT program to print receipts to file and not to the printer during testing.
