Hi,

Just a small request, will it take allot of time to move the journal dsiplay from inside the POSCONFIG/Journal to other places like REPORT or...

coz sometime if the employee need to check the past journal, i dont want them to be able to access into the POSCONFIG coz this will be easily chage some setting in journal for a new user...coz if u click TAB istead of F5...then u already change something yes to NO without notice...

TQ.

Well DHPOS would have to open POSCONFG.EXE to access the feature anyway - as that is where the code for that function is stored.

I think it's handy having these sorts of options, under their headings in POSCONFG, it makes it easier to remember where they are.

Guest,

If employees needs to to check past transactions they can also use the "5. Voids" feature from the main POS.EXE program. This will allow them to view up to the last 10,000 transactions and will even allow them to jump directly to a particular transaction by transaction number.

Dale, you say "This will allow them to view up to the last 10,000 transactions", but when i try to do this i can´t view all transactions of actual day (<10000 obviously!!)
What´s happen with this?

Guest,

If you are unable to view transactions from the voids menu - then you have not enabled Sales Recording in POSCONFG. Under Sales Recording, you select how many transactions you want DHPOS to store - up to 10,000.

This is a separate function from the journal.

Guest,

Use the "Sale recording - VOIDS" feature of the POSCONFG.EXE program to set the number of past transactions that you want to keep in the file. You may store 0, 10, 100, 1000, or 10,000 past transactions.
