I have a suggestion about the daily report, in which the sold products in this day.

For example:

Products Qty Sales
Coke 355' 15 $25.30
Photos chips 19 $14.70

Then, we can know the total Qty and sales for each products.
Do you think that this is a good idea?

Super idea isn't it?

That's why it's already available in the program, if you've enabled merchandise tracking in POSCONFG, you can access sales reports from Reports on the Main Menu.

...about the items you're selling.

What's a "Photos chip" ? And how many do you get for 0.773684 each? (14.7 / 19 = 0.77368421052631578947368421052632 etc.....)

How do you measure Coke by the foot? " Coke 355' " Doesn't the " ' " stand for feet? Sure I guess you could pour it on the floor, and get a ruler...but then we'd be talking about square feet ('^2), not feet ('). Unless of course you have some form of tube...but then wouldn't it still be easier, and less confusing to use a volume measurement?
Oh, btw 25.3 / 15 = 1.6866666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666 etc... .

How'd you come up with such odd pricing?

Just curious.

Confused,

I think it was just randomly chosen examples - not based on the real prices!

I assume 355' means 355ml - i think the " ' " is sometimes used just to stand for "units".

Guest,

When you close out the register you are offered the option to "Reset the merchandise data." In the stock table this will reset the "pieces sold" and "value sold" to zero. If just before closing out you create a merchandise report (and the day before you reset the merchandise data) then the merchandise report will only include sales from today.
