i am going to setup pos net and i know on every register need the networked path for it but do you the same on the (server) ?

Only if you are going to be using the server as a register also.

In the actual release version, if you do use the server as a register, I believe there will be an option to set to tell the machine it is the server.

I am still working on the server part. For this stage of the beta test we are just testing the individual registers.
