I am not sure if this is in the right forum but I figure this is the best place because I am not actually selling this product.
Ok, here it goes:
I am subscribed to this magazine that has an ad on the back about Psion Teklogix (http://www.psionteklogix.com). I went to the site and found this really cool portable DOS system with IBM DOS 7.0. As I remember, it says that DHPOS should work on any DOS system so I figure it should work on this. Yeah, but a small PC/104 system would be nice! One with VGA and IDE interfaces would let you hook up a hard drive and monitor and keyboard on COM1 and have a working mini-POS!

Even better just get a Mac Mini running a DOS emulator... (Aopen are doing a PC clone of it...)

For those that are looking for small POS base units in the UK, then try and look around for a second user Elonex Book PC or Lumina (or one of the earlier PC4xx series with small case)

Elonex continue to make new PCs, the ProSentia 1050 is an all-in-one with 15" TFT, it even has serial & parallel ports - perfect for an EPOS system - the whole lot would sit on top of a counter or a cash drawer.

Another system that i'm dying to get my hands on is a Wyse Winterm with built in CF card hard drive (runs embedded NT 4.0e, new ones are XPe) These things are quite small and are just adequate to run POS. I've got a normal dumb terminal Winterm but I need to have a Terminal Server for it.
