discount bug

Hello,
I was just playing around with the program and I rang up two $.50 items and then did a discount of $6. The total came out as -$4.99. Shouldn't it have been -$5? There was no tax on anything. Has this been discussed before or has anyone else got this bug?

Sorry, I forgot to mention- the version I'm using is 6.28c

I beleive that it has something to do with tax, for example i rang up to 50c items which had 0% tax, but when you perform a coupon/unit reduction, which in my case is 10%, giving me a total of -$5.59 for some reason. But if you press F7 (change tax) in coupon/unit reduction to 0% it will only take the 6.00 off
