Dale,

Your software seems to have a lot of bugs in it. Will there ever be a version that does not have bugs?

Nope.

Mark,

What a straightforward, interesting, and valid question. You sure don’t beat around the bush, do you?

The answer is, “Of course not.” Why should my software be different from any other? After all Microsoft does not come up with all those service packs because they're bored.

But I will say that the current version, 6.07, has not had a reported bug for the last two weeks which in human terms is about a zillion years.

Since you are not actually reporting any bugs the question is how do you know that it ever had any? Maybe it is from reading this forum or looking at the recent list of bugs at the bottom of this page http://keyhut.com/new_bug.htm

Do you know of any other POS software provider that will allow you to post bugs found in their software to be posted on their site for the public to see and then left up there for years? Or post a public list of their most recent bugs? If you do please post the links to those pages.

It may just be that I encourage users to post any bugs found in my software for all to see and others don’t.

There Is No Such Thing as 100-percent bug-free software. Every piece of software has at least 1 (probably more) bug. Computers are only as smart as the people who program them (and Dale does a pretty good job).
