Thanx Dale & everybody for the inputs and hard work that went into automatic reports.
I'ts just great.

Small problem:- fixed in a 6.37? and back in 6.38
Searching the stock table from the receiving program will only find descriptions in uppercase.

Using Receive.exe from 6.37f solves the problem.

I just tried it here with version 6.38 and the RECEIVE.EXE program found lowercase descriptions and lower case vendor stock numbers just fine.

Right click on the program icon (not a short cut) then click [Properties]. Is the "Modified" or "Created" date March 9, 2006? If you do not see that date or later then it is an old version. "Accessed" date does not count.

Does anyone else have this problem?

I apologise.

I again copied the downloaded & unzipped 6.38 files to the POS folders and it now works 100%.

I must have messed up something the first time.
