pole display

Hi! I have an Ultimate Technology PD220 pole display that connects through the parallel port, I was wondering if a parallel port pole display works with DHPOS

mmmmmmm i dont think so are you sure its parallel? do you mean parallel on the pole end or parallel on the end that connects to the computer?

its parallel on the end it connects to the computer, if i buy an adapter so it will hook up through the serial port would it work then.

Since the output from the pole feature is sent through the serial port there is no way that a pole display attached to the parallel port will function.

Well.... I know you can re-route data sent to the LPT1 to COMM1 in DOS/Command Prompt. I'm sure you could reverse the process. Perhaps Jon would be the one to ask on this one.
