Probably been asked, but not to this extent... I'll go into detail.
Keep in mind I know how to network, but it's not a big specialty for me... but bear with me...
MS Windows 98 Machine as a POS Server... Windows 95/98 as the clients. File and Print Sharing setup on the Server... and on the Uplink/Shared port of a 5 port network hub.
Now... how would DHPOS handle this? Would the DOS based setup be based off of the Windows networking? Or would DOS networking hafta be setup independent from Windows?
Networking...

Re: Networking...
You would place dhpos on the main directory after C: or the drive letterProDeZigner wrote:Probably been asked, but not to this extent... I'll go into detail.

write down the path you get when you go to the folder that POS is located in in pos config type that path and choose a letter for the register ABC whatever exit pos config boot pos on the server
boot POS on all the clinets
