Customer Display for Windows

Apologies for the quickly-written documentation that goes with the program, but I think it serves it's purpose.

Basically, it will display the last 3 lines of a transaction and is capable of showing your company logo and Flash animations.

For more info and to download it, go here.

This customer display is nice and interesting.
I like the flash, company logo, and the individual item pictures!

Hope it keeps being updated! :D

Reply Correction: - Please ignore last posting (hit submit by mistake!)

- How exactly do you set this up?
To set it up copy all files in the EXTRACTED zip folder and copy them into your DHPOS MAIN Directory

- No configuartion in POSCONFIG.exe Required!
Load the main program, CustDisp.exe, and go to the main POS.exe screen, and your company name, and flash images/logos (if any) will show up.

- Flash Movies: I use LIVESWIF 2.2 available at this website: http://www.liveswifers.org - Enter site and download liveswif 2.2! All you have to is not animate anything (if you do not want to!) and create still movies. Use info from http://mywebpage.netscape.com/pcpossw/ for help in inserting flash movies

- Graphics and logos: I use an open source program, The Gimp at http://www.gimp.org! Great program, alternative to photoshop!

For Flash, Images, and Media, use the information provided on this page: http://mywebpage.netscape.com/pcpossw/

- Images are pretty straight foward on the website.

Hope this answers your question! :D

You could unzip it into your DHPOS folder, but it's better to keep it separate. All you need to do to get it up and running is to unzip it into a new folder, then create a shortcut to "pcdsp.exe" and set the "working" or "start-in" directory of the shortcut to your DHPOS folder.

Just remember - you do need employees set up for the display to work properly.
