I have recently migrated from stock numbers that I generated myself (partially based on category numbers) to barcode numbers. I have noticed 1 thing. It's not really that big, but I'm just curious as to why DHPOS omits the 1st 0 in the sock number, assuming that 0 is the 1st number. All of the other fields in the stcok table retain the 0. Is there any way for the user to change this.

No - the stock number is numeric, and in numeric terms - a leading 0 does not affect the face value of any number.

Yes even if using a barcode scanner if the 0 is not in the stock number it will still read and add the item to the sale correctly
