BUG: Modifying low cost items

Hello. I have some low value items in my stock table (with included tax). These items ring correctly, but when I use "tab" to modify the last line, sometimes the price is out by a cent (49 cents becomes 50, 39 cents becomes 38...) This does not occur when items do not have included tax.
After a bit of fiddling, I found that this also occurs on amounts like 1.59 and 1.69, but does not seem to be a problem on higher value items.
Thanks for all your work on POS.

I have experienced he same problem.
Any item costing 5.50 when scanned any number of times stays 5.50, but when TAB is used to change the number of item sold the unit price is reduced by .01 to 5.49.
This does not happen on all items -
I probably messed up when setting up the system:- stock table reports that it has been set up for added tax (single tax only) but the prices that I use include tax.
For some reason when selling any item it is rung up correctly with the stock table price showing as the amount including tax and the tax anount being calculated correctly.
It is easy enough to not use the TAB function but my concern is that this situation may cause reports to be incorrect.
Can the stock table be changed to included tax or do i have to start from scratch again?

I have tried your problem here and could not reproduce it. Could either of you find the ??????.POS file in your POS folder and attach it to an email and send it to me at
daleharris@prodigy.net BTW, what version of the POS progrm are you running?
The thing about the stock table saying that it is using added tax when it has actually set to use included tax is only a problem with the label, the stock table really doesn't care which you use because it does not keep track of tax on the items. However I have fixed the problem and it will be uploaded tonight probably as version 6.37f
Fixed.

ToPS & CBL,
I think that I have fixed this thing. It was a rounding error when the program back calculated the price in a register using included tax. (Don't ask.) So actually the problem should have cropped up approximately half the time after you pressed [TAB] after scanning an item.
However it is working now for me here. Please download version 6.37f from
http://keyhut.com/pos3.htm and give it a try at your place and then report back.
Thanks,
