employee mgmt program / cash program

Two suggestions:
1. Employee management program- tracks employees' profiles (phone numbers addresses, position (mngr, crew, etc.), minor or not, training levels, write-ups / commendations, etc.) could possibly import/export DH-POS employyes, and passwords. This may be a good time to implement two-part manager codes: i.e. if a persons access level (position code, 1. store manager, 2. gen manager, 3. swing mngr, 4. crew) is 1-3, if they enter their ID into DHPOS anywhere then it goes on to ask for a password.

2. If anyone is still planning on writing the cash office program, then if a person closes a register, or does a drawer change, then DH-POS should put a consecutively named file (1324.cash) into the global folder and the cash office program should import the lowest numbered file and allow the counting manager to count the drawer and enter the count amount, then the program compares it to what DHPOS says is in the drawer. And, if the drawer is off by more than $2.00, then the program lets the manager fix it (put in or take out the appropriate amount of money) or leave it and write up the employee via the employee mgmt program. If the drawer is off more than $2.0 AND More than $20.00, then a tag should go on the managers name in the employee mgmt pgrm.

Maybe the TIME CLOCK FEATURE EVERYONE IS WORKING ON! could get its imfo about the employees from the employee mgmt program.

Nobody is writing the time clock - Dale gave in and put forth his ideas for a timeclock but they got poo-pooed.
