Hello,
I want to know if the Modified CueCat works on windows XP with the POS Software?
I know the UnModified with CatNip will NOT work on windows XP with the POS Software.
Any Information would be nice...
Thanks.

Guest & Chris,
The question is not will a CueCat work with POS, I use one here so I know that it works with Windows '98 and most versions of Windows and POS.
The question asked is,"Will a modified CueCat work with POS on a computer running --> WINDOWS XP <--"
The answer for an unmodified CueCat is "No"
So to answer the question you must...
1. Have a modified CueCat.
2. Have a computer running Windows XP.
3. Be running the POS program.
4. Scan a barcode into a sale.
If the CueCat properly converts the barcode into the correct stock number and enters it into the "Stock number" box to ring up that item, then the answer to "Will a <u>modified</u> CueCat work on a computer running POS <u>and Windows XP</u>" will be "Yes."
If it does not work then the answer will be "No."
Sometimes you just have to spell things out in enormous detail to get an answer. I guess that this is one of those times

Yes

Hello,
I just wanted to tell you that the Modified CueCat DOES work with Windows XP. I purchased it from eBay and tested it with your pos software, and it worked great!!!
Thanks.
