I've got an IBM 4694-V07 (207 with HDD) which urm does'nt have a parallel port so i've not been able to test it fully.
How does it work with IBM peripherals?
Essentially if Dale could interface DH-POS with the ESC/POS standards all of these serial devices would work.
I'm out on the field fixing Nixdorf Beetles (5XL (P166), M, S (Celeron 466-533) and the occasional 4694 and NCR 7xxx base units but they all use serial printers.. I never get a Beetle home to play with.
Interestingly the some of these Beetles are running Windows NT Embedded 4.0 with 16mb of RAM, while others are still using MS-DOS with no monitor, and are being upgraded to touchscreen and Novell SuSE Linux!
