aprint4 (S) does not work

I am using POS 6.40M and aprint4. I like to alternate between printers. My problem is that when I want to switch printers I have to delete the aprint file instead of pressing "S" in the aprint4 window. If I just want to change the font size I just edit the aprint file, but to change printers it is easyier to delete and then select when I run aprint4. I have tried holding shift when I press "S" with the same result, nothing. Is there a problem with the file or am I doing something wrong?

Would it help if the "Printer setup" feature could erase the APRINT setup so that you could enter it again?
