Number of blank lines between receipt

I am using a POS printer, Star SP542. On the printer setup, I have set it to Continous and Print Characters Wide to 40. I have set the "Number of blank lines between receipts" to 0. My problem is that when I print the receipts, it always has one line in between the data. This takes up too much of the space from the paper.

I tried and set it up on a Page printer. Yes, it has no blank lines in between but then it would also take a lot of paper since it is pre-formatted to a certain height.

Is there a way for me to use a continous paper without any blank lines in between? Help please. Thank you.

If you're talking about lines between the data on the printout, I think you must have set your printer up for Force Line Feed = YES

If so try changing that back to NO as it looks as though your printer is doing a CR at the end of each line and then you are making it do another one.
