"There are no POS files on this drive!..."
Post

I saved all pos files under My Documents\_Downloads\Pos folders. When I open the Pos folders and run the POS.EXE the program asks me to enter Cash Fund and go to POS Main Menu. But when I access the POS.EXE from the Desktop shortcut on my Taskbar (Desktop-My Documents-_Downloads-Pos-POS.EXE) it says,
There are no POS files on this drive!...
and asks me if I want to:
- 2. Create minimal register.
Why is this so?

My first guess is that the POS.EXE on your desktop is not a shortcut, but a direct copy of POS.EXE which won't work - it will look for the files on your desktop.
Make a shortcut, right click it - select properties and set the "start in" or "working folder" to the folder where you stored DHPOS. You should make life easier for yourself (as this usually has to be hand-types in) and put DHPOS in a short folder like "C:\DHPOS".
Also DOS doesn't like long filenames/folders from time to time (dates back to 8 character long filenames) and this could also cause a hassle.
