Hi all,
I just wanted to know if there was a way to print out a list of Items sold for just the day by Category only. I have about 10 certain items in the stock file linked to Category 40. I'd like to get a reading each day with the items in Category 40 printed on it. Can this be done.

Well I just answered my own question after tinkering. I see that there is an option in the reports Option D Total by Category then #1 include every item. I then scroll towards the end until I see cat 40 where I can see my items sold and the totals. The problem with that is when you print it out it prints all the cats and items sold all day not just the cat 40 items i need.

Tina,

After creating the report and before you return to the "Reports" menu you can press [TAB] and be offered the option of saving the report as a text file. You can then start WordPad and load the file you just created. From WordPad you can select just the portion of the report you want to print and then print just that part.
