CURRENCIE PROBLEM

Post by amrak1 » Mon Nov 21, 2005 10:54 am

I would like to ask if it is possible to write an amount bigger then 4 digits. Our currencie is not as good as yours :(

EXAMPLE:
- OPENING CASH IN REG has only 4 digits and 2 sub digits avaliable
- STOCK CATALOGUE has also only 4 digits and 2 sub digits avaliable, so that means I can only put there items cheaper than 10000.00 SIT (Slovenian tolars)

10000.00 SIT = 45 USD

Is it possible to change this settings?

Thank you in advance for your letter.

Rounding

Post by Dale Harris » Mon Nov 21, 2005 2:40 pm

amrak1,

Go to the "Rounding" feature of the POSCONFG.EXE program and set rounding to "1"

This will drop the decimals from all monetary amounts so that a price can go as high as 999999

ROUNDING

Post by amrak1 » Tue Nov 22, 2005 1:38 am

Unfortuantly our tax police want from us two decimals. So that meens I have to operate with two sub digits.

Will it ever be possible just to let one number more?

I would be very happy about it.

Best regards

Additional digits

Post by Dale Harris » Tue Nov 22, 2005 10:51 am

amrak1,

Unfortunatly it would take a major rewrite of the program to add additional digits to the price. I will add this to the "think about it" pile but it would be a long time before I could get to it.
