No Sale
Anwoke,
The purpose of "No sale" is just to pop open the cash drawer.
"Cash in" and "cash out" can also be accessed through the "5. No sale - Cash in / out" option of the POS.EXE main menu.
If your register is low on cash due to returns / refunds then you will want to PULL cash from the cash office to put in your register drawer. This is a "Cash pull" and when you do a "cash pull" it will adjust the "Cash in reg." figure on the closing receipt.
If you are having a great day in you store and there is way too much cash in your cash drawer you may wand to DROP some of it off into the cash office. This is a "Cash drop" and when you do a "cash drop" it will adjust the "Cash in reg." figure on the closing receipt.
Both a cash drop and a cash pull will of course open the cash drawer otherwise you could not get them money in or out of the of the drawer. However it will also print 2 receipts, one to be given to the cash office for their records and one to be placed in the cash drawer so that the person counting the money at the end of the day knows what was exchanged with the cash office.
