New POS version 6.32 released on 5-10-05

And tracking down tax crud continues. Version 6.32 fixes a couple of problems where the tax can be off by a penny under some conditions. This version also fixes a payouts / "Z" reading problem.

Reports in 6.32

Post by Tina » Thu May 12, 2005 1:18 am

Does anyone know which .tbl file contains reporting data? After upgrading to 6.32 from 6.31 I'm not getting any info on the screen when running this report.

MAIN MENU
# 8 Reports
Enter your associate Number
#1 Tina Chosen (1 Enter)
Sales Merchandise Reports Screen
Sales Reports
A. Total Sales
Press Tab to accept current date range

The following is displayed on screen

====================================
ONLY AND ARE NOT A REPLACEMENT FOR
ADDING UP THE ACTUAL CLOSING RECEIPTS.
TAXES ARE THE TAXES ACTUALLY PAID AT
THE TAX RATE AT THAT TIME.
IF THE SYSTEM DATE ON YOUR COMPUTER
WAS INCORRECT WHEN THE REGISTER WAS
CLOSED, THEN THOSE CLOSING FIGURES MAY
NOT BE INCLUDED IN THESE TOTALS.

Thats all that is displayed with no sales figures

If I choose option B. Employee Sales then choose Employee 1
all I get is

=========================================
on the screen and nothing else..

Can I erase a certain .tbl file to reset this some how??

Cheers,
Tina

The .tbl file is your stock table.

I just tried this too...and got the same result here. All recording etc is on, using 6.23.

Well I'm not sure what the problem was, but i got it to work again by erasing every file except for the .pos , .idx , & .tbl files and installing a fresh copy.

I installed a new copy of DHPOS in a new folder, and re-setup a register.

The reports now work fine - however they don't work with the data from my previous install of 6.23 which was upgraded from beta 2.

Anyone else experiencing this problem?

Is the report thing got anything to do with network?

Coz i open the global POS the REPORT work fine, if I open LOCAL POS, the report is blank.

So, is that mean that the LOCAL POS cannot view the REPORT of total sale?

Hi Tina,

I just wonder do you use Network for the DHPOS? Because I only have this problem on my Local POS, while my Global POS work fine.

Did u manage to get the problem fix?

Forced line feed

Post by Dale Harris » Thu May 26, 2005 8:09 pm

The "no reports" problem can be fixed by going to the "Printer setup" feature of the POSCONFG.EXE program and setting "Forced line feed" to "NO"

Or you can download version 6.34a or later at http://keyhut.com/pos3.htm
