I am not sure if this is possible but if it is can someone point me in the right direction. I know it is possible to track customer info and have the system prompt for customer info,,,,BUT is it possible to only ask for the customer info when a particular item is sold. I run a music shop and run tution for lessons throught the till as an item number. It would be nice to collect the customer info when i sell tution only. I do not need customer info when i sell a pick or single string.

No it's not currently possible to autopopup customer info on a particular item.

You can bypass entering customer info by pressing TAB without entering anything once the customer info form appears.

From the Customer Info option in POSCONFG. There's a key, I believe it's F4 to access the customer database.
