Startup problem

Hi, the software sounds great and the price is right so I downloaded it, unzipped it and it won't run.

Comes up with a window titled "16 bit MS-DOS Subsystem"
Which says:
C:\Pos622\POS.EXE
C:\Windows\System32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose "close" to terminate the application.

The PC is new and is running XP.
Any idea what I've done wrong?

Thanks
Paul

Windows XP error.

Paul,

I know exactly what the problem is. Your version of Windows XP has corrupted itself and not only will it not run the POS program but it will not run any DOS software. What fun.

Needless to say this has been reported before, way too many times before. The solution is to fix Windows XP and here are the instructions...
