Quoting System

Our old POS software, which is very old now, had a kewl feature that I really liked was "Quotes" I tried using the Sales parking but I usually do a lot of them. And it may take 1-2 weeks before I got back to that sale. I was just wondering if you could make a quote system into the pos system. for exemple. after you ring up the entire sale, instead of hitting "=" there could be a Funtion key that would just make a quote instead. so I could just print it off. But it would keep it the quote on file. and right after you hit puchase on the main screeen. There could be a "recall quote" button. that would bring up a quote list of all quotes. Just pick the quote you want. and the entire sale would be done. and all you have to do is hit "=" Please intoduce this feature in the next versions. I would absolutly love you dale. I haven't looked yet, but do you except paypal? -Justin

Why thank you, but you do know that I am married don't you? Plus these mixed relationships (human / geek) rarely work out but I am flattered.

You can save up to 75 parked sales just about forever and print them out using the "sales check" feature.

If I was to add a "quotes" feature to the program it would be part of the legendary (because it never seems to get done) customer accounts feature. I plan to begin work on this feature near the beginning of next year and it should take 3 to 6 months to complete.

Married? Thats no excuse! Quotes System NOW!!! Didn't relize that the parks feature would hold if you closed. I had a gf for 5 years. no longer together. but that was a lot of work. And very impressed so far. I have read up on all the other versions and fixes. I really love this software. And right now I am setting a linux system running a dosemu with freedos. the only thing that is going to give me challange is the printing part. will have 3 stores using one server. We will see how that goes. If I get right. I will write a tutorial on how to set it up, and give out my scripts for others to use.
