36 Groups

Post by ChrisKraus » Thu Sep 09, 2004 3:38 pm

Here Is An Idea. When Using Groups, You Could Make It A Full-Screen Pop-Up Window When You Press F1 in A Sale. To get 36 groups, use A through Z (26) and then use 0 through 9 at the top (10 More). I don't know if I am the only one, but I need some more Groups.

Just A Suggestion,
Chris :)

25 lines per screen.

Post by Dale Harris » Thu Sep 09, 2004 8:57 pm

Chris,

If you carefully count the number of lines on the POS screen you may find that there are only 25 of them. At least that is how many I count.

But the more important reason that there is only 20 groups is that the groups use the same code to print on the screen as the stock table. Change one and have to change the other, there is not enough free memory left in the POS program to stick in two sets of code to basically do the same thing. There are only 20 lines on a stock table page to print be able to print the column labels at the top and the key press functions at the bottom. So it looks like 20 groups is going to be it.
