Robert, you need to supply such info as how the printer is connected to the computer, are you using APRINT, etc...

Works here

Post by Dale Harris » Sun Jul 04, 2004 11:38 am

Robert_Nel,

I tried it here and it worked fine. Try this, set your cutter code to 65,66,67,68,69,70. Now go print a report. At the end of the report ABCDEF should be printed although the cutter bar will not work. Those letters use the ASCII codes 65,66,67,68,69,70. So if you see ABCDEF printed at the end of a report then the cutter bar code is being sent. Now go back and reset the cutter code back to the proper values and try printing a report again. Does the cutter code work? Did you see ABCDEF during the test?

I have exactly the same problem with an epson parallel printer. Cuts fine after transactions but won't cut paper after doing a report.

What happens when you try the ABCDEF thing?
