Feature Requests for POS

Here are some features I'd like to see in the future.

-Debit Payments
Allow setup in POSCONFG so that after selecting the debit/credit payment option, to enter the price; then a transaction number.
* I use a standalone Debit/Credit processing machine, and it outputs a transaction # after processing

-Loyalty Programs
Allow the acceptance of Loyalty Programs. (Calculation of points somehow) When the sale is rung up, select loyalty program type (if applicable) request # and then store to a database. At the end of the month, I can print it off and submit it.

I think a great tool for customer service would be to add a product sales history. I utilize the customer sales figures, but since we recommend products to our clients, it would be nice to review the stock items they had previously purchased.

Product sales history
In some countries/areas it is illegal to track your customer's purchase history. This is one of the reasons the RFID tags scheme hasn't come into place, because it potentially breaches a lot of privacy laws.

Besides that fact - do you know how much diskspace such history would require? Ouch!

Loyalty Program
Step 1 - ring up sale
Step 2 - Hit F2 to being up the on-screen calculator
Step 3 - Divide the sale amount by the points factor, record the details in a book or database

Debit Payments
The tender has already been extended to allow recording of credit or debit. I suggest you set the print two copies of a receipt for a credit sale to Yes. Then attach the till receipt and transaction receipt and file in your drawer.
